Clamps can also hold tables when not being operated. This provides excellent damping ability thereby reducing chance of micro vibration, which can cause premature block and rail failure.

KWH - Holding with a Hydraulic Clamp

A normally open hydraulic clamp for heavy loads. The pressurized hydraulic oil pushes against the contact sections via a piston mechanism directly onto the flanks of the sectional guide rails. The pressure membrane technology provides the highest operational reliability and zero backlash.
Supporting Forces up to 10,341 lbsf (46,000N)

MBPS - Pneumatic Braking Element

A normally closed brake, which requires pneumatic pressure to open. Higher holding forces are obtained from heavy-duty springs, which require multiple pistons connected in series to release the spring force. Ideal for applications with limited space because of its small envelop size.

MK/MKS - Pneumatic Clamp

The patented wedge driving gear moves in a longitudinal direction when spring pressure is applied to the piston. The resulting transverse movement presses the contact sections with high supporting forces against the free surface of the guide rail. Additional holding force can be obtained by using the PLUS Connection.
