We\u2019re proud to have collaborated with the brilliant artist Bruce Asbestos on the creation of Dash<\/em>, a giant inflatable sculpture now featured in UNIQLO Tate Play: Bruce Asbestos, S\/S 2025<\/em> at Tate Modern. This joyful, bold work is the result of a playful partnership between Bruce and UNIQLO, brought to life through our team\u2019s active participation in design, production, and event execution.<\/p>\n

Inspired by Henri Matisse\u2019s iconic collage L\u2019Escargot (The Snail)<\/em>, Dash<\/em> transforms the artist\u2019s colourful, cut-paper composition into a monumental 10-metre inflatable sculpture<\/a> made from durable nylon. The piece brings a sense of lightness and energy to the Turbine Hall, encouraging interaction and discovery through vibrant form and scale.<\/p>\n

From Sketch to Sculpture: Bringing Dash<\/em> to Life<\/h2>\n

We worked closely with Bruce to transform his creative vision into a fully realised inflatable artwork<\/a>. Starting from his original sketches and colour palette, we developed a buildable form that balanced artistic intent with the practical needs of large-scale installation.<\/p>\n

Dash<\/em> was made from nylon and carefully fabricated to capture Bruce\u2019s playful aesthetic and the bold visual spirit of Matisse. Every detail\u2014from shape to colour\u2014was considered to ensure the piece felt both dynamic and inviting within the Tate\u2019s iconic Turbine Hall.<\/p>\n

Our team managed the full production and installation process, making sure Dash<\/em> was safe, eye-catching, and ready to engage visitors of all ages.<\/p>\n
